Register

LaunchPad is a tiered registration system, which means that each teacher is tied to a school. Each teacher has one or more students assigned to them.

Steps to Register

  1. Create a Teacher account in LaunchPad.
    • If your school is not listed in the registration form, contact us at sciencefair@mmsa.org and we’ll add it.
    • If you’re a homeschooling parent, select the Homeschool option.
  2. Share the Student Registration link with your students.
    • Each student should create an account, even if they are working on a team with another student.
    • Parent/guardians of minors will get an email to sign an electronic permission form.
  3. Once a student has parental permission, they can login to their Student Portal to start their project.
    • For students working on teams: only one of the students should create a project. They will be able to add their teammate(s) during that process.
  4. You can monitor the progress of your students’ registration and project completion in the Teacher Portal.
